This is also the main tourist season, and the best time to visit Thailand. The north and north-east are generally cooler than Bangkok in winter, and hotter in summer. Annual rainfall is about 1520 mm in the northern, western, and central regions, about 2540 mm or more on the Thai portion of the Malay Peninsula, and about 1270 mm or less on the Khorat Plateau.

Planning Your Thailand Vacation
